This is a short video to give you an idea how to repair an LG RHT297H DVD + 160GB HDD Recorder which is showing the PLEASE WAIT message on power up, won't eject the dvd tray or freezes during operation. The fault is with the power supply. one of the caps goes leaky or swollen and doesn't allow a smooth enough power supply to let the system boot or causes it to crash randomly.
